    Shed Roof Shed

The Shed Roof style is taller on one side. Rain water only runs in one direction. Your shed can be built to have the taller end on the front side or the back side depending on your preference.

This type of roof style is common in neighborhoods where there is a Home Owners Association (HOA).

Many HOA’s do not allow your sheds roof to be higher than the 6 foot tall exterior wall. If that is your situation, we typically make the back of the shed that butts up to the wall the low or short side with the roof height being right at 6 feet or the heighth of your wall.

The front side is slightly taller with a minimum of one-quarter-inch per foot height allowance allowing rain water to drain towards the rear of your shed. See the image below as an example.
